CALC member organizations discuss priorities for the 2025 parliamentary elections
Member organizations of the Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (CALC) met to analyze the pre-electoral context of the 2025 parliamentary elections and to establish strategic priorities that would contribute to the organization of a freer and fairer electoral process.
The discussions were based on the CALC conclusions on the 2024 presidential elections and referendum, which found that the elections were only partially free and fair, influenced by external interference and voter corruption. In this context, the coalition members identified measures and objectives to ensure better electoral integrity in the future.
CALC reaffirms its commitment to monitor and support the conduct of democratic, transparent and fair elections, contributing to the consolidation of democratic values in the Republic of Moldova.
The event was organized by the CALC Secretariat, hosted by the ADEPT Association, with the financial support of the East European Foundation. The activity was organized with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through the EDMITE project.
