In the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections, we are looking to expand.
The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (CALC) is opening its doors to new associate members – organizations that believe in fair elections, transparency, and meaningful civic engagement.
If your organization is active in the electoral field or a related area, has relevant experience, and wants to be part of a platform that has brought together expertise and dedication for over 20 years to improve democratic processes in Moldova – we invite you to join CALC.
To become an associate member, your organization must:
✔ Include in its statutory documents activities related to the electoral field and/or related areas;
✔ Have proven experience in at least one of the working group areas of the Coalition (election monitoring; media behavior monitoring; civic and voter education; promotion of inclusive elections);
✔ Have signed the Charter for Free and Fair Elections;
✔ Commit to respecting the Coalition’s Regulations.

The membership application must include:
✅ A signed and stamped application from the organization’s governing body, stating the commitment to becoming a member of the Coalition;
✅ The organization’s statute;
✅ The organization’s CV highlighting experience in at least one of the following areas:

Monitoring of electoral processes

Monitoring of media behavior during elections

Civic and electoral education
-
Promotion of inclusive elections
✅ Two letters of recommendation from current Coalition members (only the names of the recommending organizations need to be mentioned in the application).

The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (CALC) is a platform of civil society organizations from the Republic of Moldova that promotes transparency, integrity, and fairness in electoral processes. Through joint efforts in election monitoring, civic education, advocacy, and institutional dialogue, the Coalition contributes to strengthening democracy and ensuring the protection of citizens’ electoral rights.
